Qualification Summary
Mr. Arnold is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a former member of the Cleveland Engineering Society. He is an Appraiser of Machinery and Equipment and has performed over 500 appraisal reports of various facilities throughout The United States. His appraisals have been recognized by major banks and corporations.
He is a Certified and Accredited Appraiser as per the Disciplines and Requirements of The Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA) and has successfully completed all Continuing Education Courses and Examinations as required by AMEA. He has completed and passed the exam of the American Society of Appraisers' 15 hour course on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) in 1996 and 2002 and is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).He is currently completing the application requirements and necessary course work for membership into the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Mr. Arnold is a Certified Senior Appraiser within the disciplines of the Equipment Appraisers Association of North America (EAA-NA). He is a member of its Appraisal Review Committee. He is also an Associate Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
Mr. Arnold has been a Dealer and Broker of Used Chemical, Plastic and Rubber Processing Machinery and Equipment since 1965 and has been actively engaged in business and industry since 1960. He has supervised liquidations of various industrial facilities in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, Pennsylvania and other states with total sales exceeding twenty five million dollars.
Mr. Arnold is currently employed by Arnold Equipment Company, a Dealer of Used Chemical and Related Processing Machinery and Equipment with offices in Beachwood, Ohio and a 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Arnold is Sole Member of Arnold Appraisal, LLC.
Mr. Arnold is the International President and member of The Board of Trustees of The Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). He is the former Chairman of the AMEA Appraisal Review and Education Committees. Mr. Arnold is a member of The Board of Trustees of The Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) and Past Chairman of the MDNA Cleveland Chapter. He is currently serving as the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers Representative to The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council (TAFAC) and is chairman of its emerging issues committee.
Mr. Arnold has been consulted numerous times as an “Expert on Appraisals of Chemical and Related Industries Appraisals”. He has been an expert witness in several court cases and hearings. He has also worked as a subcontractor and consultant for many large appraisal firms.
