We are a company with a long history that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the industrial machinery business. In 1897, my great-great-grandfather, Louis Sogolovitz founded a company here in Cleveland, Ohio to dismantle and recycle items for industry and consumers. His basic idea was to sell items that were no longer needed by one person or company but could be used by another.

Louis was assisted in the company, in 1910's, by my great-grandfather, Nathan Sogolovitz and his brothers. When my grandfather, Irving Arnold, married my grandmother in 1936, he soon joined the family enterprise. My grandfather shortly began to see the value of specializing in industrial ventures.

In 1957 my grandfather left the family business to start the Arnold-Roblin Company with an emphasis on recycling machinery and equipment for the chemical and related industries. My father, Nate joined the company in 1960, and within a few years was able to refine the company into our present mode of doing business.

Our new warehouse is located in Cleveland, Ohio,
just off of interstate route 90, on lake Erie...

In 1995, I, a great-great-grandson of Lous Sogolovitz joined Arnold Equipment Company as the fifth direct generation to be working in this industry. I have brought our company into the new millennium with an active program for us on the Internet. I have enabled us to remain competitive by generating many sales which were directly related to our website.

With our heritage of 110 years, we are ready for the new century and prepared to do business with new ideas and plans but with the old traditions of honesty and fair dealings with ALL of our customers and suppliers. Hopefully, we can do some future business with YOU.
