The information sent do not have enough information to make a good evaluation of the system the information desire is like follows: Filtration Fixed media or removable cloth method of attachment of the filter media pressure rating of the vessel filtrate chamber volume below the filter media filtration area expected cake depth for the given area working volume of the vessel (below the raised agitator). Washing Number of solvent nozzles configuration and direction of flow smoothing effectiveness of the agitator. Will the wash spray rinse off the seal bellows?Agitation Hydraulic or electrically driven motor configuration of the gear reducer and steady bearings agitator shaft blades and seal Heat Transfer Vessel jacket style bottom head heating configuration and construction agitator heating configuration and heat transfer fluid rotating joint seal capabilities vessel temperature ratings. Are the field connection points fixed in space or do they move with parts of the machinery? If a new type of heat transfer mechanism is proposed (such as microwaves) how many units does the manufacturer have operating in the field? Sampling Half-ball valve versus sample thief. Is the sample representative of the entire cake with respect to dryness? Does the sampler interfere with the action of the agitator/plow? Discharge Discharge valve seal configuration (metal-to-metal seat or o-ring seal) how is seal surface cleaned to attain a tight fit? Can the discharge valve be opened for inspection or access to the vessel? How close can the agitator be lowered to the filter cloth for primary discharge? How is the product heel removed and does that step requiring additional equipment? Will high potency materials be processed and how does this affect the manufacturer's design? If a product isolator is part of the scope how much experience does the filter-dryer manufacturer have with the technology or the isolator manufacturer? Cleaning CIP strategy and proven effectiveness surface finishes drainability of the filter bottom plate. How is the filter medium changed or if a fixed media how is it made clean and validated as such?Maintenance How long is a warranty in effect and what does it cover? Is factory service assistance available in your area? How much disassembly is involved in servicing key components such as the agitator seal? Are large components self-supported during maintenance or is rigging required? How much extra clearance is required around the unit to accomplish major maintenance tasks? Filter Manufacturers website.10/18 - cust #22342 - I am going to be in America next week and would like to inspect the two machines that you have for sale so the more pressing question is where can they be inspected for items #3136 and #3140.I would like to see both units run up to speed and inspect the internals.10/19 - Per Troy at Go Industries - Asset Sales went out of business - Louisiana Chemical now has contract for all dupont machines - Per LCEC - unable to find it in their inventory
