If not I'll keep my eyes open for another one.Let me know.Jon Jon sorry was unable to get you an email yesterday but below is what we discussed on phone yesterday.GEO Specialty Chemicals is looking for a 48 X 30 316SS basket for a Western States Q320 Centrifuge. We are looking to purchase a basket only but will entertain reasonable offers for a complete assembly if a basket alone is not available. I told on the phone I would be willing to pay $15000 for the basket in the assembly below following an inspection of the basket and determination that the basket is suitable for service and has no cracks or defects that would prevent us from using it. GEO would at our own cost have the basket removed from the assembly at the location where it resides or taken to a local full service machine shop if needed and then have the basket sandblasted and dye penetrant checks for cracks. If the NDE indicates the basket is good we would purchase the basket for $15000 and return the rest of the assembly to Arnold Equipment. GEO would arrange to a carrier to transport the basket to Deer Park. I cannot agree to an “As is Where is” sale of the equipment as it is typically a 50/50 chance the basket may not be useable. If your source is agreeable to us doing this please let me know as soon as possible. It can be used in a food application if it were thoroughly cleaned. There is a place near CRE in Houston where they do an acid wash. They may use ultra sound and other hi tech means of chemical washing as well so it can be done. And yes the basket can be removed for cleaning. No idea of price but could be a couple thousand dollars.
