I want to make sure we are all on the same page. One the mixing bowl is larger than what the brochure you emailed says but it is not as big as the next model. Two is the bowl and blades are magnetic. I am 95% sure they are stainless steel. If you want me to hire someone to test it I will but I am pretty confident we are okay. Mark also looked at it and thinks it is stainless steel. Extruder driven by a 1.5 hp gear reduced to chain and sprocket. I got Seth’s email yesterday got the check and called Felix to check in and make sure everything was set up and ready to do. I then received a call at 5:10 from Erin who was at a trade show in Mich. She said “ I was selling the mixer for them” She first said I could not pick up the mixer tomorrow. I needed to mail her a money order or pay pal and have it clear. They were worried that the check would not clear. I told her I had a cashiers check and that was the whole point of a cashiers check.She later informed me that one she had to be there and two they were concerned that once I got there I would not want it. I told her if it was represented like she said then I would want it. I also told her I would bring my cashiers check or cash. She said I needed to wait until she got back which is late Wed. or early Thurs. morning. I told her I could come down next Tuesday. My first thought was something is wrong with the mixer. I will check shafts and things as best as I can. (I think we will be okay) I next thought that she does not own it and has to pay someone before she can get it released. My third thought is someone has contacted her and told her they would pay more. Who knows. I called Felix this morning to tell him that I would not be in and found out he was out of the office today. The secretary asked if I had talked to Erin and I said yes. I asked who Erin was. She is an employee and it was easier for Erin to do the sale than for the company to set it up. That is all I know.
