Choosing a Screening Machine
Selecting the right screener depends heavily on the material, particle size, and desired throughput. Tell us about your application and we will help identify an appropriate machine.
How the Questionnaire Works
A few details about your material, particle size, and throughput are all we need to point you toward the right screener.
Describe Your Material
Tell us what you are screening, whether it is dry or wet, and what you need to accomplish.
Share Size and Capacity
Incoming and finished particle size, separations, and throughput help us narrow the options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions buyers ask when choosing a screening machine.
What is the difference between a vibratory and a centrifugal screener?
A vibratory screener uses motion to move material across a flat or round screen deck and works well for free-flowing powders and granules. A centrifugal or rotary screener uses a rotating paddle inside a cylindrical screen and is often a good fit for materials that tend to clump or blind the mesh.
How do mesh size and microns relate?
Mesh refers to the number of openings per linear inch of screen, so a higher mesh number means smaller openings. Microns measure the opening size directly. If you know either value, enter it in the questionnaire and our team can convert as needed.
How many separations do I need?
One separation removes either oversized material or fines. Two or more separations split your material into several size fractions, which requires additional screen decks. Tell us what you need to recover and we will help you decide.
Can a screener handle wet material or slurries?
Yes. Some vibratory screeners and separators are designed for liquid and solid separation and wet screening. Let us know the material condition so we can recommend a machine built for it.
Do you offer both new and used screening machines?
Yes. We buy and sell new and used screeners, sifters, separators, and centrifuges from many leading manufacturers.
What happens after I submit the questionnaire?
Our team reviews your answers and follows up by phone or email with screening machine options that match your application. If we need more details, we will reach out with a few quick questions.
